  • Our people

We want our pupils to speak – as well as think – for themselves, so we give them a voice in school affairs.

Our school council has representatives from pupils in each form across Years 1 to 6. Once a year, pupils have to stand for election and explain to their form why they would be a suitable candidate to represent them. School council meet regularly to discuss and share their thoughts and ideas as they share their voice on school development. They actively influence menu choices for lunch times, club allocation and playtime improvements.

We also have an Eco-Committee and Wellbeing Committee consisting of pupils across the age range who are elected biannually. They support the school in maintaining a green flag award for the site and ensuring we are a caring community.

Look out for pupils wearing their representative badges with pride around school.
