At the end of September our Year 2 pupils enjoyed a trip to Wandlebury Country Park.
Our pupils had an opportunity to explore and learn about a range of habitats including woodland, pond life and grass meadows as part of their ‘Nature & Nurture’ theme.
The children went on a mini beast hunt in the leaf litter of the woodland and found a range of invertebrates and learnt how creatures had adapted to their environment to survive. They also enjoyed pond dipping and were delighted to find water snails and water boatmen.
