2012 Leaver
Imogen Grant
Imogen started rowing at Trinity College while studying medicine after leaving Stephen Perse in 2012. Her meteoric success since then is an inspiration to us all.
Georgina Elsey attended The Perse School for Girls, in Pollock House, between 2000 and 2008. She celebrated the 125th anniversary of the school, and went through extensive building work, sitting through damp assemblies in a marquee in the garden, to enjoy a new hall, dining room, and library before she left.
Bridget joined the BBC in 1983 as a trainee for the BBC World Service and over her career has become one of the Corporation’s most respected international correspondents, with 30 years of experience of reporting from the field, and we are delighted that Bridget will be returning to Cambridge in her new role as Master of Peterhouse, Cambridge.
Alison and her husband, Tim Hayward run world-famous Fitzbillies in Cambridge, which they saved from closure in 2012. Now running two successful shops in Cambridge, Alison used her former background as a Strategic and Marketing Director to re-ignite the Fitzbillies brand.
Steph's sporting journey began with hockey and athletics at school, where she was inspired by various teachers both academically and in terms of her sport. This was followed by lightweight rowing at Cambridge University and then modern pentathlon, athletics & cross country running at Oxford University all whilst a medical student.
I am a children's author. Before that I was a stay at home mother. Before that I was a midwife for ten years, and before that I read English Literature at Oxford; making my career path more roundabout than motorway. I'm hoping that there won't be too many other swerves now but I've enjoyed each stage of the journey to get here.
